Dacelin St. Martin, MD, FAAP
Dr.
St. Martin is one of the few
physicians in the country with dual
Board Certifications in both
Pediatrics and Internal Medicine.
Dr. St. Martin earned his MD degree
with honors from Montemorelos
University, Mexico, an affiliate of
Loma Linda University, CA. He
received his Internship at:
Metropolitan Hospital, NY, NY (New
York Medical College) and his
Combined Pediatrics and Internal
Medicine Residency Training at
Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT
(Yale University Health Systems).
While he was in Residency Training,
Dr. St. Martin was elected as Chief
Resident. He was also a first-prize
winner of the Resident Research
Award, a testimony to his dedication
and leadership in the field of
Medicine. Dr. St. Martin has made
scientific presentations and
published a number of scientific
papers in several scientific
journals relating to Pediatrics and
Internal Medicine. He is an avid
teacher of medical students and he
believes in shaping the future of
medicine. To stay on the cutting
edge, he maintains an active
membership with the American Academy
of Pediatrics, American College of
Physicians and the American Medical

Lilia Shammas,
MD
Dr.
Shammas graduated from medical
school in Russia. After getting
married she came to the USA. She
continued her pediatric residency at
Shands University of Florida in
Gainesville. Her specialty and love
for children keeps her dedicated to
providing care and promoting optimum
health and well being to her
patients and their families.
She is
committed to continuing education
and is passionate about providing
the best and most up to date care
possible for her patients. Dr.
Shammas’ areas of interests are
allergies, asthmas and behavior
conditions such as ADHD. She is
excited to be a part of PedIM
Healthcare. Dr. Shammas and her
husband have two boys and she enjoys
spending time gardening, cooking and
spending time with her family.

Tamra Assumpcao, PA-C
Tamra
Assumpcao is a Certified Physician's
Assistant and her love for both
children and adult care has led her
to work at PedIM Healthcare. She has
a special interest in Women's
Health. Since a very early age, she
has had a strong interest in science
and has wanted to be a part of the
medical field.
Tamra received
her Bachelor of Science Degree in
Biology from Minnesota State
University, Mankato, in Mankato,
Minnesota. After earning her
Bachelors Degree, she went on to
receive her Masters Degree in
Physician's Assistant studies at St.
Louis University in St. Louis,
Missouri.
Tamra strongly believes in giving
quality care to each patient she
encounters and hopes to serve them
in the best possible way she can.
Her warm and friendly personality is
inviting, which creates a
comfortable atmosphere for her
patients.

Maryellen
Greene, PA-C
Maryellen is
a Certified Physician's Assistant
with a great passion for healthcare.
Maryellen received her Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Psychology from Lee
University in Cleveland, TN.
After earning her Bachelors Degree,
she went on to receive her
Master of Science Degree in Medicine
from Treveccaa Nazarene University
in Nashville, TN.
Maryellen works
diligently to not only heal but also
educate her patients on how to lead
healthier, longer lives through
proper nutrition and exercise.
Maryellen truly cares about her
patients and their families, and it
shows.

Susan McChesney, PA-C
Susan McChesney has been a Certified
Physician Assistant for many years.
She has worked in several areas of
medicine including Internal
Medicine, Family Practice, and
Surgery.
Susan is a strong proponent of
patient education and is committed
to helping patients optimize their
health. Susan received Bachelor
Degrees in both Biology and Nursing
from the University of Connecticut
in Storrs, CT.
She was employed as a
Registered Nurse prior to obtaining
a Physician Assistant degree from
George Washington University in
Washington, DC. She subsequently
completed a Surgical Residency for
Physician Assistants at Yale
University/Norwalk Hospital in
Connecticut.
Susan is pleased to join PedIM and
serve patients in Adult Health and
Pediatrics. She focuses on
presenting understandable medical
explanations to patients to improve
adherence to their medical treatment
plan. Susan is particularly
interested in cholesterol management
and looks forward to helping
patients live healthier, more
fulfilling lives..

Brenda
Hayden-Brown, ARNP
Brenda Hayden-Brown is a Summa Cum
Laude graduate of the University of
Michigan BSN program. After
providing excellent care a the
University of Michigan health system
for 20 years as a registered nurse
she became an ARNP. Her interests
include cardiology and health
promotion. She is a mother of three
adopted children. She believes that
it is very important for everyone to
help their community. In her spare
time she enjoys restaurant dining,
watching movies and roller skating.
