May 8, 2021, Inverness, FL – We showed our support this past weekend to The Citrus County Education Foundation (CCEF) at the 8th annual Citrus Kids Triathlon.
Up-and-coming iron kids battled to the finish line in the three components of the race: swimming, running, and cycling.
Hundreds of families and friends showed up to the event at Whispering Pines to cheer on their favorite athlete, including our very own Leisa Lanzarone, Amanda Schaak, and Carrie Gallagan.
All proceeds from the event support public education in Citrus County through classroom grants, scholarships, technology upgrades, recognition programs for teachers, and sponsorships of educational events and fairs.
It was an excellent opportunity to show our support and enthusiasm for our kids in our community. We’ll be back next year!
